Why this matters to your business

A closing falls apart and the agent is the last to know why.

Most agents never learn the estate and title issues hiding inside a transaction until one of them costs a deal. Here is where they hide.

i.

Title held in a trust

The seller passed, the home sits in a trust, and now no one is sure who can actually sign. The closing waits.

ii.

Probate you didn't see coming

An estate that should have been simple is stuck in court, and your contract has a clock you cannot control.

iii.

A deed that never transferred

Title looks clean until it isn't. Improper transfers surface late and put your commission at risk.

The Curriculum

What you'll walk away able to do.

Practical, plain language knowledge you can use in your very next transaction.

Understand how title is held

Individuals, trusts, and estates each sign differently. Learn who has authority and when.

Questions

Good to know before you enroll.

Do I earn real GREC credit?

Yes. This is a GREC approved continuing education course (#79978) worth 4 CE hours, with your certificate issued after completion.

What is the difference between the Zoom and in-person options?

It is the same class and the same 4 CE hours either way. Joining live by Zoom is $27, and attending live in person in Atlanta is $47. Register for whichever format you prefer.

Is this useful if I rarely deal with estates?

Especially then. The agents who get caught off guard are usually the ones who do not see these issues often. This class helps you recognize them before they cost you a deal.

What if I cannot make the date?
